dukan diet? how much can i expect?

Question by meggie: dukan diet? how much can i expect?
i just started the dukan diet 3 days ago and have already lost 3 pounds!….

i started at 147 and i’m now 144! according to the website i’m suppose to stay on the all protein for 5-10 days, then you switch to one day all protein to the next day protein and veggies.

I don’t want peoples advice on this diet, i’ve done alot of research on it and it is helping me. I don’t plan on being on it for a long period of time, just till i get down to 125, then i plan on just eating really healthy and portion control.

Has anyone every done the dukan diet and how much did you lose and how fast? i’m 5’2 and 144 and i’m hoping to get down to 125 by end of July, is that sound like it could happen?:) thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by Sam GreenAtkins works way better than dukan, not to mention is so much healthier. The dukan diet ruins your kidneys and makes your skin terrible. Not a single vegetable in the ‘attack’ phase.. no wonder it’s called ‘attack’ because it attacks your body. Seriously, stop the dukan. It’s the worst fad out there. Atkins works way better and you get fast, consistent results . . . → Read More: dukan diet? how much can i expect?

Is 55 too old for the HCG diet?

Question by : Is 55 too old for the HCG diet?
Over the past 5 years I have slowly put on 15 pounds. I have tried exercising to get them off but they just will not budge. I guess at the age of 55 my metabolism has slowed down. Is 55 too old for the HCG diet?

Best answer:

Answer by BrandonI used to go to a HCG weight loss clinic and I saw people of all ages doing the diet. There were people in their 20′s, 30′s, 40′s, 50′s, and there was even a guy in his 60′s doing the diet. I don’t think that there is an age limit on the diet since it is not like you are going to be doing extreme exercise or anything like that. You may want to contact a doctor in your area that deals with the HCG diet first though just to be sure.
