Do you remember when medical personnel would say you do not need to take any vitamins or supplements, because when you eat, you get them in your food”? I heard this as a child & the wise advice continued into adulthood! Now I get recommendations from medical personnel to take a good multi vitamin & other nutritional supplements will certainly help you to remain healthy.
Recently, I went to the Ophthalmologist for an eye examination. My eyes were dilated & scrutinized from every possible angle. After the exam, the Doctor asked If I took multi-vitamins? I answered yes. He then went into his speech about how I need I-cap multi-vitamins to strengthen my eyes. Oh, what a few years will do to change attitudes & opinions. Doctors recommending supplements! WOW!!! Muscle building supplements fall into the same category. Not long ago, we were told to not bother with the supplements, they did not matter. Just eat a good diet & get lots of rest & everything would be fine. Well, I’m certainly glad, serious minded & determined builders, did not listen. Sometimes, or probably most of the time, you really need to constantly explore the new frontiers in building a healthy & strong body. On searching for a natural cure for Rheumatoid Arthritis, or some form of natural treatment I was quite knocked back. The Medical notes & articles were telling me that that there weren’t any known cures, & how the disease will become steadily worse the longer the patient has it.
Being the determined sort I began to search the Internet to see if I find this elusive natural cure, that is if there ever was one to be found. But as I searched I read horror story after horror story. I read how the joints in the body become inflamed, & how steadily they get more & more painful to the point that sometimes the patient can not move out of his/her bed.
The list of the joints affected by this inflammatory disease is immense. Toes, ankles, knees, hips, arms, fingers, wrists, shoulders, & everywhere there is a joint in the body.
As the disease takes hold the patient can expect deformities, & to give an example the patient may have grossly deformed fingers or toes, which would give constant pain.
Further reading on the Medical side of things the Doctors & specialists still are not sure what causes it… Some think that it might come from the patient diet, while others will say that it comes from some form of bug that has been . . . → Read More: Rheumatoid Arthriris – Natural Treatment

Emotions are not something that simply stir around in the brain; they invade every cell in the body & affect the immune system. However, they’re ingenious in that they not just communicate our inner response to change, but equally important, eventually they provide many messages about how to deal with our current dilemma.
How we perceive a particular loss has a major impact on the emotions that surface. If we believe the loss of a loved one was inevitable, we grieve one way. If we believe the loss is unjustified, we grieve quite differently.
The three most obvious emotions associated with grief are anger, guilt, & depression. Some mourners experience one or more of these emotions, others, none at all.
If you’re presently dealing with one of the above, examine the questions these emotions pose for you… Then apply your answers by taking specific actions, & see if the course of your grief takes a turn for the better.
1. Even though anger is an okay emotion to have because we’re deprived of something valued, it also sends the following messages to carefully listen to. Am I using my anger to cover up other emotions (like fear, frustration, depression, dependency, or guilt)? Is it causing me to refuse to accept the death & prolong my suffering? What do I need to restore in order to . . . → Read More: Cope with Your Great Loss by Seeing Your Emotions as Inner Messengers

Feeling fatigued? Maybe even a bit forgetful?
Some of the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (or hay fever) go unnoticed in lieu of the more painfully pressing ones, like eye & throat irritation or a runny nose. Though you might think that the “hazy” feeling associated with lost sleep & allergy medications is temporary, it actually can have long term effects. Believe it or not, the end results of rhinitis can lead to cognitive impairment. Simply put, your allergies can affect your learning abilities.
Most people notice that when their allergies are acting up, they have a harder time concentrating or remembering things. Rhinitis & the medications used to treat it are associated with other concerns, such as:
Decreased ability to concentrate & function
Activity limitation
Decreased decision-making capacity
Impaired hand-eye coordination
Problems remembering things
Irritability
Sleep disorders
Fatigue
Missed days at work or school
More motor vehicle accidents
More school or work injuries
These are problems that are often overlooked because nose blowing, scratchy throat & itchy eyes demand the most immediate action. But repeated nights of disrupted sleep on account of allergies can slowly wear you down over time & dull your mental edge. To add to the disorientation, allergy medications that are bought over-the-counter often contain cheaper ingredients than prescription medicines, & the result is an even hazier condition than that brought on by allergies alone.

It is the curse of teenagers around the world, but acne is caused by a combination of factors that are not related to age & can strike in your thirties as well as your teens.
In fact acne is the most common skin disease & more than 85% of people between the ages of 12 & 24 suffer from some form of acne.
So what causes this condition if it’s not just hormonal? Well contrary to popular belief acne isn’t caused by not getting washed properly or eating greasy food. In fact acne is caused by the clogging of the pores, which in turn prevents sebum ,which is a characteristic oil, reaching the skins surface thus creating acne.
Now even though we have pores all over our body acne mainly develops on those areas of the skin where we have the most sebaceous glands. Areas such as the face, scalp, neck, chest, back, & upper arms & shoulders.
Unfortunately these are the areas where we least want to have this infliction as it can not really be covered up, but as we have already discussed acne isn’t caused by dirt or surface skin oils, so what can we do to treat it?
Well first of all lets get straight to the point & admit there is no magic cure for acne! But on the positive . . . → Read More: Acne – Causes & Cures
