How To Quit Smoking - 3 Steps You Must Take
If you want to quit smoking you should know that you will be facing one of the biggest challenges of your life. It is very hard to quit smoking. Over 90% of the people fail. I am not trying to discourage you… I want to help you stop smoking as soon as possible. I do this because I know the many dangers of smoking & I’m personally aware of how hard it’s to quit smoking forever.
Before you select which way or product you will use to stop smoking, you have to make some personal decisions. Right. Without these firm decisions, you’ll not actually be easily able to make it through the process.
Here are 3 steps you must take before you start your quest to quit smoking:
1. Make a firm decision - Almost every smoker I know swears that he or she wants to quit more than anything else in the world. If that were true, they would be well on their way to being cigarette free. But talk is cheap while actions are somewhat more expensive. If you really want to stop smoking, you have to make a commitment to yourself, to your health, & to your looks & wellbeing that you’ll stop smoking & never revert. Make a pledge to yourself. Even make a private ceremony of it, or sign a contract with yourself. Without a commitment, you’ll never succeed.
2. Inform your friends & family about your decision - If you tell other people that you have decided to stop smoking, you’ll gain valuable support. And it will enforce your commitment. You’ll do anything you can not to fail now that you have made your decision public.
3. Believe in yourself - Many people do not succeed in quitting because they assume failue before they start. This is a sure way to fail. If you want to succeed, you have to believe in yourself.
Many people attempt to quit smoking each year. Even though many fail, many others succeed. Before you select the stop smoking product which best suits you, take the 3 steps I described & your chances of success will skyrocket.
