Bodybuilding is one of the most rewarding & healthy aspects of fitness & personal improvement, But with so much conflicting information on the web & being touted by “PRO’s” what’s going to work for you? Below I’ll outline a few items which you’ll need to understand to achieve your goal.
1.) Equipment.
Whilst there’re some elaborate expensive machines on the market, almost any heavy item or your own body weight could be effective if employed safely.
2.) Routine.
You will need to select a routine to suit your goals & lifestyle. Its no good committing to a regime of monday-saturday twice or two times a day if you give up exhausted after 1 or two weeks Or just doing a few sit-ups if you plan to become the next mr universe.
3.) Diet & supplements
Its not going to do you any good if you’re training hard, with the right equipment if you do not eat a balanced diet & get all the nutrients your body needs to grow & recover.
Whilst I do not advocate the mindless gulping of protein shakes, supplements do have a role to play if you a deficient in these nutrients. I would say that a good multi-vitamin is almost essential to any aspiring body builder & that some other products do have merit if they’re right for the person & their lifestyle.
The above is literally a ‘taster’, if you would like to learn more for FREE please checkout my blog which also covers Hit or high intensity training:
