Question by : If Swine Influenza is, “not able to be passed from human to human”, how have people contracted it?
Could someone currently contract Swine Influenza, even if they had no contact with infected animals?
Note: the words inside the quotation marks are not my own knowledge, but what I have heard other people saying.
Best answer:
Answer by justhavinfunby that they mean that you can’t catch it by just touching someone who is infected, but you can catch it by an infected person coughing/sneezing directly on you (and then it entering your body). I was a bit confused by this at first too, but then I found more about it on the news.
Hope this helps and makes sense!?

Question by who cares: What is the mortality rate for H1N1 influenza?
Since the CDC reports only 26 confirmed cases with 8 deaths in Mexico, that would be a mortality rate much higher than the H1N1 influenza outbreak of 1918, which killed tens of millions. Why are the mortality rates in Mexico so much higher than the rest of the world. Does anyone know what the actual mortality rate is?
Best answer:
Answer by Melvar_10Im not 100% sure on what the mortality rate actually IS, but i do know that this disease only has the potential if EVERYONE keeps freaking out. Sure its bad, but flying to a different country when you can possibly HAVE the infection won’t help nobody. A virus is successful if it can spread, influenza is great at this. New strain, and people go freaking out. As for only Mexicans dying, its mostly because some Mexicans don’t go to the hospital until it is too late. I’m Hispanic, but the same goes with me. This virus is weird though…..

Question by Felix: For how long will the influenza vaccine stay in your system?
Hello Everyone,
I just got an influenza vaccine shot, after I had it; someone told me that I shouldn’t have it because is not good for you. Will this vaccine stay in my body for the rest of my live, or would it be out of my system in a few months, years?
Thanks everyone,
Best answer:
Answer by AlisonONE person said it wasn’t good for you, and you took that at face value? Are they a flu-vaccine researcher? Or a doctor? Probably not.
Bottom line, the flu shot is important to get. Each year it covers 3 strains of flu that the CDC predicts will most prevalent. If you get vaccinated, not only do YOU not get sick, but you prevent spreading it to other people as well.
