what do you think of the zone diet?

so many people that I work with are doing it and have lost so much weight. It is the medical zone where the doctor gives shots and you follow the zone diet. you have very few calories. and you start off only eating protein for like a week. then you slowly add veggies and then fruit. One girl has lost like 90lbs in 6 months!! It seems so unhealthy, what do you think?
