Free Advice To Help People To Eradicate Their Depression

I am somebody who has suffered with depression for the majority of my adult life. I now feel like I’ve finally emerged victorious & that the depression has been eradicated once & for all. In this article I’ll be explaining about how I managed to do this.

I think there must be some form of depression gene that runs through my family. Both of my parents are on anti-depressant pills & my sister has also suffered with this form of illness in the past.

My own form of depression came about for a number of reasons; I had a stutter, I’m quite short for a male, I’ve a bald patch on my head & I was also over-weight due to excessive bouts of comfort eating. Do you follow? The above reasons may seem quite trivial to other people however they were quite upsetting for me.

Around eight months ago things started to improve. I had met a very intelligent lady who had given me some very sound advice. And so… She stated that I needed to write two lists; one would be a list of all of the positive aspects of my life & the other would be a list of the things that I was not happy :) with.

I did this & it actually helped me to realise just how lucky I was. I had a loving family, I had two beautiful young children, I had a nice house, I had no financial worries & I had some good friends.

The lady said that I needed to work through the second list to attempt to find solutions to some of the issues. I’ve now started to do this & am slowly removing some of the items on there etc.

If you’re depressed, it could now be the time to start thinking in a more positive manner. Be thankful for what you do have & start working towards finding a solution to some of your problems.
