How To Eradicate Your Depression

I am free at last, free from the depression that has clouded the majority of my life. I’m now able to sleep at night, look at myself in the mirror & smile, look forward to each & every day as well as the future, & to think happy :) thoughts. Life was not always like this, in actual fact it has only been this way for the last six months. In this article I willl write about how I managed to successfully eradicate my own depression, information that I hope will prove to be of great benefit to other people in a similar situation.

There were numerous reasons as to why I felt depressed. Even though I’ve never been classed as a handicaped person, at times it felt as though I was. There is more. This is because of the fact that I grew up with a stutter. Stuttering or stammering, as some people call it, made my life some what more hard than it could have been. My self-confidence & self-esteem were shot to pieces as I was unable to get my words out fluently. I’ll never forget the pain that I used to feel, when for example, I was asked to read out a paragraph in front of the class at school. I would stutter on seemingly every other word & this would ultimately end up with a number of people laughing at me. The anger I felt towards them & the world at large was immense.

The stutter was just one of a number of problems that I had. I’ll refrain from going into each & virtually everyone of them as it would take me all night. I would regularly feel sorry for myself as my life was being dictated to by the all of these issues. I struggled to meet girls, struggled to get work, & also found socialising with friends to be very hard, for obvious reasons.

At the age of twenty-two I decided to attempt to face up to & deal with each & every one of my problems. I was determined for a better life. After a lot of hard work I managed to eradicate the stutter & also to accept some of the other issues.

I now like myself, I now feel grateful for the cards that I’ve been dealt in life & the depression has been kicked into touch.
