Any good remedies for chronic gout or diet recommendations for gout?

Have had occasional gout turn (once or twice a year) into chronic gout 8-9 times a year. Do not smoke or drink but have some diet issues to address.

    I’ve read celery seeds help. You can get them in the spice isle.

    You need to avoid animal proteins, red meat, fatty foods, organ meats, anchovies, herrings, mackerel that are high in uric acid.

    Drink plenty of fluids to dilute uric acid & purines in your body.

    Some say coffee can lower uric acid, but don’t start drinking if you don’t.

    Vit Ester C might lower uric acid, I’d suggest 3000mg/day.
    Also cherries & other dark red & blue berries have lots of antioxidants in them.

    All gout is–inflammations and the best thing for that is {Serra Phase} trust me I have try everything but this or {SAME} which is cheaper and it still works, it works the best to bring inflammation down look it up in the net.     Elimination of uric acid from your diet is the only thing I know of.

    I have had a similar situation. Try to reduce your red meat and shellfish intake. Reducing your intake of animal proteins in general will definitely help. Also drink a lot of liquids. I found that the frequency of my meals made a difference too. I was eating just two meals a day, with a very large dinner. Apparently this can overload your kidneys, resulting in high uric acid levels and gout. If you eat a few, large meals try to eat more frequent smaller meals.
