I’ve been on birth control for 6 months now and I was wondering if the chance of getting pregnant increases during the week I take the sugar/placebo pills. I usually don’t start my period until 3 or 4 days into the week. Is it still safe to have sex BEFORE i start my period but WHILE i’m on the week of placebo pills?

Yes, it’s safe.
just stay away from some foods here this will help

Yes its safe the week before you start your period is usually a higher does that holds you over while your on your period. But yeah its completely safe to have sex that week
You are unlikely to get pregnant at any time while on the pill – its not impossible just unlikely. The pill doesn’t work on a daily basis, there is a build up of hormones that prevent ovulation.
You are no more likely to get pregnant when taking the placebo pills (or no pills), than when taking the hormones.
Can I get pregnant while on birth control during the week I take the placebo pills?
NOT IF THE GUY WEARS A CONDOM!!! and hey you can’t get any venereal diseases either…
Is it still safe to have sex BEFORE i start my period but WHILE i’m on the week of placebo pills?
IT”S ONLY “SAFE SEX IF THE GUY IS WEARING A CONDOM!!!!
Wake the hell up, Woman… take responsibility for yourself and YOUR actions, before something tragic happens!!!
Not all birth control treatments work, just remember that. In the world of today, you don’t want to accidently end up pregnant. I think that you should still still use a condom. So many women and teens get pregnant because they trust their birth control too much.
I got pregnant on the pill. I took it at the same time every day, i had a daily reminder go off on my phone to remind me to take it and kept it in my handbag in case i wasn’t home at the time.
There is no 100% way to stop getting pregnant other than don’t have sex.
If your really worried about getting pregnant but don’t want to be celibate, take the pill, use a condom or a diaphragm and don’t believe in the ‘pull out method’ or any other wives tales.
Truth is, your better off using multiple contraceptions than just relying on one.
